New faces at our Torbay branch
Our Torbay branch goes for growth based on success with the appointment two experienced care managers in two new roles in Torbay, to support the branch’s continued success and growth.
The Covid pandemic has been a time of great challenge for everyone.
Not least those who need our services.
Our clients want to remain living in the comfort of their own homes.
They want continuity of care with carers known to them who can provide so much more than just care.
Karen the Torbay branch director has seen continued growth in what she describes as a most challenging year.
Introducing new team members that support our Torbay carers:
Dale, Branch Manager
Dale Kiely is Torbay’s new Branch Manager.
Dale’s role is to support Karen (who is the owner and branch director of the Torbay branch).
Karen explains, “the Torbay branch has grown so much that I have needed extra help to sustain the growth of my branch. This is a new position and permanent full time role to manage branch compliance and support the team locally.” Dale has extensive care management experience which has included regional and area management, supporting and opening new branches. Recently, Dale has been a Registered Manager in a traditional quality Dom Care setting. “What attracted me to Friends was the way that they are able to offer care. Giving every customer choice of carer and continuity of care. I am looking forward to working with Karen and supporting the Torbay team. I have enjoyed my first couple of weeks in post and it has been a great experience. We also have a very helpful head office resource and genuinely friendly, central head office team that supports branches in every aspect of compliance and growth.”
Dale lives locally and enjoys his leisure time, swimming, camping and walks in the South Devon Countryside. Apparently, Dale is a great knitter which he finds a great way to unwind.
Caron, Branch Administrator
Caron Agatowski also recently joined to support Karen with branch admin.
Caron has 10 years care management experience and “loves the Friends Helping at Home experience” that she describes as a “genuinely people who care and make a difference”.
Caron is the branch’s Admin mainstay and works closely with the central head office team that ensures the successful onboarding and deployment of carers in Torbay.
Carers have to feel valued and they are.
Having recently joined “mid-pandemic” I have seen carers that have gone above and beyond in supporting one another and ensuring that every customer has had continuity of care.
